Nestled in the serene beauty of downtown Whitefish, MT, BANG BANG THAI offers a unique dining experience - blending the vibrant flavors of traditional Thai cuisine with fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients of the mountains we call home.

BANG BANG was born out of a passion for great food and a love of mountain culture. Our founders, avid travelers and foodies, envisioned a place that captured both the exotic tastes of SE Asia and the rustic charm of Montana. And, after a long journey through menu development and concepting, that dream became a reality.

Our menu aims to showcase the best of Thai cuisine alongside playful twists on crowd favorites. Our chefs blend authentic flavors with modern techniques and quality ingredients to create dishes that are both innovate and familiar: Scratch Green Curry and Crispy Gai, to name a few. We believe every meal is best shared and so the menu is designed to be enjoyed family style.

We are proud to partner with the following local farmers and vendors to source fresh, seasonal produce and high-quality meats and seafood: Wicked Good Produce, Mountain View Gardens, Ackerman Foods, The Chopp Shoppe, Flathead Fish.

The space was designed to blend Asian notes with ski-town vibes and a nod to the Old West - bang bang!! - and features art pieces and installations by our founder, Sam Dauenhauer. We aimed to create a warm place to gather, relax, celebrate, share and simply enjoy a good meal.
